The glorious 52nd Bangladesh Leo Day was celebrated in a grand and festive manner on August 23, 2025, under the initiative of Leo District 315-B4, Bangladesh. The event was presided over by District President Leo Md. Shawkat Hossain.
The honorable District Governor Lion Mosleh Uddin Ahmed Apu PMJF graced the occasion as the chief guest. Distinguished guests included First Vice District Governor Lion Md. Kamruzzaman Liton MJF, Second Vice District Governor Lion Md. Abu Bakkar Siddique PMJF, Past District Governor and Founding President of Leo District Lion Manjur Alam Manju PMJF, Cabinet Secretary Lion Md. Abu Morshed, Cabinet Treasurer Lion Gazi Md. Shahid Ullah MJF, Joint Cabinet Treasurer Lion Mainuddin Jillal MJF, GMT District Coordinator Lion Ashesh Kumar Ukil MJF, LCIF Coordinator Lion A. K. M. Nabiul Hob Suman, Leo Club Chairman Lion Shubha Naz Jinnia MJF, Leo Youth Exchange Chairperson Lion Md. Khalil Ullah Chowdhury Sakib, Past Leo District President Surajit Saha Mithu, Past Leo District President Lion Shahjada Gazi Md. Gaznabi, Past Leo District President Lion Abu Naser Rony, Past Leo District President Lion Saiful Karim Arif, Former Multiple Leo District President, Past Leo District President and Global Causes–Youth Lion Shahriar Iqbal, Past Leo District President Irfan Mostafa, Past Leo District President Lion Atik Shahriar Sadif, and Immediate Past Leo District President Leo Dipto Dey.
Also present were District Vice President Leo Md. Sifatul Islam Sami, District Secretary Leo Rafid Md. Ahnaf, District Treasurer Leo Hossain Md. Imran Nixon, District Joint Secretary Leo Sheikh Muntasir Mamun, GMT District Coordinator Leo Arafat Hossain, GET District Coordinator Leo Wahedul Alam Rocky, along with presidents and members from nearly forty Leo Clubs under the district.
The event was chaired by District Joint Treasurer Leo Nishu Jannat Laki, who played a vital role in making the program successful. Program Advisor Leo Tasfia Akter also contributed significantly. The entire event was conducted by Program Secretary Leo Chowdhury Adrita Barua. During the program, the speakers highlighted the significance of the Leo movement, the role of young people in service activities, leadership development, and future action plans.
Past District Governor and Founding President Lion Manjur Alam Manju, in his speech, recalled the glorious 52-year journey of the Leo District. He remarked that by embracing the ideals of service, leadership, and fellowship, the Leos have been playing an important role in bringing positive change to society and will continue to do so in the future.
Honorable District Governor Lion Mosleh Uddin Ahmed Apu, in his address to the Leos, emphasized that they must shape themselves through service, develop leadership by contributing to society, and work with unity. He expressed his expectation of wholehearted support from the Leos and pledged to always stand beside them.
The entire celebration became vibrant with the enthusiastic participation of Leos, their commitment to leadership development, and their pledge to dedicate themselves to service. Thus, the 52nd Bangladesh Leo Day stood out as a unique example of youth-driven service, leadership, and fellowship.
