Advocate Md Sarowar Hossain‌ Lovelo, a distinguished lawyer, prosecutor, social worker, and community leader, has been appointed as the Organizing Secretary of the newly formed Executive Committee of the Sitakunda Upazila Social Welfare Federation, an organization approved and registered by the Department of Social Services under the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh.

The appointment was confirmed through an official order signed by Mohammad Omar Faruk, Deputy Director of the Department of Social Services, Chattogram District Office. The newly approved Executive Committee will serve a three-year term from 9 June 2026 to 8 June 2029.

Currently, Advocate Md Sarowar Hossain‌ Lovlo is serving as the elected Sports Secretary of the Chattogram District Bar Association (2026-2027) and the Additional District Public Prosecutor, Chattogram. Throughout his legal career, he has earned recognition for his dedication to justice, while remaining actively involved in social welfare, youth empowerment, and humanitarian initiatives.

Beyond his legal profession, Advocate Md Sarowar Hossain‌ Lovlo is the Founding Chairman of Disari Youth Foundation Bangladesh, the country’s first online registered social and youth organization under the Department of Youth Development. He also serves as the Region Chairperson of Lions Clubs International, District 315B-4 Bangladesh. In addition, he contributes to legal awareness and public education as the Law Editor (Executive Editor Rank) of Dainik Sangu, Dainik Bayanno, and Dainik Vorer Chetona.

They expressed confidence that his extensive experience in law, organizational leadership, and public service will further strengthen the Federation’s activities and inspire greater community participation in social development.

The Sitakunda Upazila Social Welfare Federation serves as a coordinating platform for registered voluntary and social welfare organizations under the Department of Social Services. The organization has long played a significant role in promoting community development, humanitarian assistance, public awareness, and cooperation among social welfare organizations across Sitakunda.
